Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA): Nvidia is reportedly working on a new GeForce GTX 750 Ti, a mid-range graphics card designed to succeed its 650 model. The features of the GTX 750 Ti will include 960 CUDA cores, 32 ROPs, and higher clock speeds than comparable models. The card should be ready for the holiday season, though it is unlikely to be released this month due to other planned releases from the company.

Intel (NASDAQ:INTC): At the Intel Developer Forum, the company was parading a list of its latest developments and gadgets. These included a new fan-less ultrabook, an array of phones, Haswell-based PCs, tablets with price tags as low as $100 that are most likely targeted toward holiday shoppers, and wearables including watches and bracelets that make use of Intel’s technology. Intel’s CEO reiterated that the forum reflects the company’s efforts to be at the forefront of many different branches of the computing world.

Advanced Micro Devices (NYSE:AMD): AMD announced it will make its first ARM chips available starting next year. The ARM chips will be designed for larger servers, not for tablets or smartphones, and will be named Hierofalcon.
